Agency's new business unit will focus to connect with startups

Last night was a celebration for Otavio Dias, Luna Gutierres and Flavia Paranhos, from REPENSE Comunicação. In addition to the nine years of the agency, the partners presented to the market a new business unit focused on startups, the REPENSE Open Innovation.

"Three startups are created every second in the world. Why not thinking outside the box and work together so that these startups make it right, generating a positive impact on business and society?, said Otavio Dias.

The event also had the participation of Pedro Waengertner, from Aceleratech; Rogerio Oliveira, from Yunus Negócios Sociais, Gil Giardeli, from 5era, Ricardo Cavallini, from Makers.net, Ana Carla Fonseca, from Garimpo de Soluções, Romeo Busarello from Tecnisa, Paulo de Tarso, from Kroton Educacional and Janaina Borges, from Contagious, British consulting company on innovation and trends, also a partner of the agency.

REPENSE PROMOTES REFLECTION ON TECHNOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL PROGRESS  

In a speech yesterday at REPENSE Comunicação, Gil Giardelli, member of Repensadores Network spoke about the importance of considering the exponent technological progress. "We are in a changing era, with a huge technological progress and where time is knowledge, taking the place of the famous 'time is money'. In collaborativism, none of us is as smart as all of us", he said.

The presentation "The dream of knowledge and the era of change," by Gil Giardelli, was part of the launch night for the agency's new business unit yesterday in São Paulo: REPENSE Open Innovation, which is aimed at startups. The event also celebrated REPENSE Comunicação's nine years of age.

INNOVATION AS SOLUTION 

"Advertisers are from Mars. Startups are from Venus". With this irreverent approach, Ricardo Cavallini, a member of Rede Repensadores, shared his ideas about the different ways of thinking on startups. "Startups are not afraid to bet, to invest in knowledge. If you believe in the project, they paid it. This is all very different from the traditional model of management of large enterprises. Here is a great paradigm to be broken", he said.

REPENSE PROMOTES NIGHT FOR FUTURISTIC INSPIRATION  

How do you want to see your town in a few years? Ana Carla Fonseca, member of Rede Repensadores, addressed the issue yesterday in the presentation "The city as innovation laboratory."

"We will not remove the current problems if we do not think across. In other words, thinking outside the box. The city is a prerequisite for innovation, a living laboratory. What good it does to invest in innovation if we do not invest in the environment that fosters innovation? "
