With the message “Childhood obesity is serious thing”, the campaign opens on September 9th, highlighting childhood obesity as a public health issue
With the purpose of helping parents and guardians to understand the main risks and causes of overweight and obesity in children and adolescents, starting on September 9th, the campaign of the Instituto Desiderata begins to air highlighting childhood obesity as a public health issue.
With the motto “Child obesity is a serious thing”, the new campaign gains a website and, in addition to social networks, will be shown in print media, magazines and segmented spaces. Weekly, the action will promote contents that encourage care with food in childhood and alert to the increasing rates of obesity among Brazilian children and adolescents.
The campaign was created by Repense and supported by ACT, Instituto Alana, IDEC and CREN.
“In a scenario where the feeding of children and adolescents points to significant numbers of obesity, creating a message that warns about the importance of treating this seriously and didactic for prevention is a sensitive and objective work. This type of campaign is a strong contribution to the sector and society”, says Alexandre Ravagnani Executive Director of Creation at Repense.
