The movie approaches socio-environmental causes and will be exhibited on subscription TV channels.
REPENSE signs the campaign for sponsorship of ActionAid humanitarian organization that was launched at the beginning of this month on paid TV. The agency went to Mozambique, Africa, to record the story of the girl Maya, narrated by the actress Júlia Lemmertz, organization’s ambassador in Brazil.
ActionAid campaigns carried out in partnership with the agency tell the stories of the people benefited by the organization around the world, in order to disclose its work and engage new collaborators in Brazil. ActionAid supports communities in the country for 15 years and, since 2011, Brazilian donators can collaborate with the work carried out in some African nations.
“Socio-environmental engagement is one of REPENSE’s pillars. The agency has, since the beginning, NGOs in its customer’s portfolios that seek for our expertise in communication and fund raising to conquer donators in Brazil for its causes. We make ActionAid campaigns, for example, for almost seven years and, up to now, more than 15 thousand children were sponsored in Brazil”, says Vivian Fasca, REPENSE’s Planning and New Business director.
The two-minute movie portrayed the daily life of Maya who lives with the mother in a non-bathroom house in a rural community in Mozambique. The family has difficulties to get a job and, consequently, satisfy basic needs, such as food. The final message is that Maya and the community where she lives can have their lives improved with the support from Brazilian donators.
The movie can be seen up to the end of the month in the channels GNT, Universal, Discovery Home&Health and Fox: http://goo.gl/PX89Q2
