With the creation of the agency Repense, film is broadcast on pay-TV channels and digital media
While a great part of the world is mobilizing to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, the Amazon continues to be the target of environmental aggression and deforestation - according to data from INPE (National Institute for Space Research), the period from January to April 2020 saw an increase of 55% in deforestation alerts in the region known as the Legal Amazon, compared to the same period in 2019. To draw everyone's attention to this problem, Greenpeace Brasil enters the media with a film created by the agency Repense.
Broadcast on pay-TV channels and digital media, the film makes an appeal to stop aggression against the Amazon Forest, such as deforestation, and highlights the importance of environmental preservation for the balance of the global climate, for the survival of different species and even for agriculture from other regions.
Under the signature “Help Greenpeace to protect the Amazon”, the campaign also values the organization's historic struggle against the destruction of the forest and seeks to attract new monthly donors so that the work of combat continues to be done.
